Glutamine
Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid that plays a vital
role in immune defense, gut integrity, and cellular
repair4especially during times of stress, illness, or injury. It fuels
intestinal and immune cells, supports detox through glutathione
production, and contributes to DNA and RNA synthesis. Deficiency
is rare due to endogenous synthesis.
Often taken as L-glutamine, it supports gut health, recovery, and
intestinal permeability.
Symptoms to watch out for after glutamine supplementation
include increased anxiety, tension headaches, migraines, or even
tachycardia. If these occur, supplementation should be
discontinued.

Serine
Serine is a nonessential amino acid involved in brain function,
where it plays a role in neural communication and cognitive
health. Synthesized from glycine, serine has gained interest for its
potential nootropic effects and is being studied for its role in
addiction, cognitive decline, and neurodegenerative disorders.
