Complex Interpretation Challenges
The Rockwell practitioner should be prepared to analyze more
complex patterns that don't fit neatly into standard categories:
Subclinical Thyroid States
● Subclinical Hypothyroidism: Elevated TSH with normal free T4
and T3
● Subclinical Hyperthyroidism: Suppressed TSH with normal free
T4 and T3
The Rockwell approach recognizes that these patterns, while not
meeting criteria for overt thyroid disease, may still produce
significant symptoms in sensitive individuals and warrant careful
monitoring or intervention [13].
