Comprehensive Guide to Cyrex Arrays 3X and 4: Gluten
Reactivity, Cross-Reactivity, and Intestinal Immune
Dysfunction
Introduction: The Gluten Sensitivity Spectrum
Gluten-related disorders exist on a spectrum that extends far
beyond classic celiac disease. This spectrum includes non-celiac
gluten sensitivity (NCGS), wheat allergy, dermatitis herpetiformis,
gluten ataxia, and various neurological and autoimmune
manifestations [1]. Traditional testing methods often miss significant
immune reactivity to gluten proteins, leaving many patients with
unexplained symptoms despite negative celiac panels [2].
Dermatitis Herpetiformis
Dermatitis herpetiformis is a chronic, intensely itchy skin condition
characterized by clusters of small blisters and bumps. It's
considered the skin manifestation of celiac disease, affecting
approximately 10-15% of celiac patients. The condition develops
when IgA antibodies form against transglutaminase-3 in the skin,
